The Challenge
The challenge was to translate the personal nature of Filit's music into a visual language that felt just as authentic. Rather than creating a polished, conventional music identity, the aim was to capture something more spontaneous and human. The artwork needed to feel personal, as if it could have come directly from the artist's own notebook.
The Approach
The visual direction embraces imperfection as a form of expression. Inspired by handwritten notes, paper cut-outs and handmade collages, the cover artwork combines raw textures with an intentionally unpolished composition. Custom lettering became the foundation of the visual language. Its irregular, hand-drawn character reflects the intimate nature of Filit's lyrics, giving the project a sense of individuality that conventional typography couldn't achieve. The same approach extends beyond the cover into stickers, digital applications and postcards distributed at live shows. Together, these elements create a consistent visual world that feels less like a constructed image and more like a personal expression.
